The Academy is a ministry of the church, and it does receive a generous measure of financial support from Peace Lutheran Church. For this we are very thankful! But of course our budget is much larger and our very low tuition is certainly not able to make up the difference. And then there are families who have a very difficult time paying even our low tuition rates and need scholarships. Because of this we COVET your support - with prayers, volunteering, and financial donations!!
THIS YEAR OUR BUDGET CALLS FOR $60,000 TO RUN OUR SCHOOL.
With 15 students, that is $4000 per student.
Although our costs are $4000 per student, our tuition is only $1750 to make it possible for families to afford this most beautiful eduction for their children.

SOME PERSPECTIVE
The public school system needs about $9000-$10,000/student (often higher). Although they do have to deal with considerable special needs students that we do not, we are still proud of our high efficiency. But please be aware that this is possible because of the considerable sacrifices from our staff. Our staff are in MINISTRY here at the Academy because this is truly a special place where God is working - and because they love and serve the Lord. They are sacrificing much - and they deserve your support!
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We NEVER say that a fully qualified and eager student cannot attend The Lutheran Academy because they cannot afford it. At least 60% of our students receive at least a partial scholarship and some even need a full scholarship. We NEED YOUR HELP to make a place for these deserving students.
